Cuboi-first two weeks with Unity
WASD or arrow keys or gamepad to move
Space to jump.
I wanted to take advantage of the spare time during Winter break so I made this nifty prototype to learn Unity's character controller. I now know that I don't really like it that much but decided to post the results of the prototype anyways. The goals were camera, movement and jumping. Did it in a bout two weeks off and on. Now on to the non bloggy stuff.
The idea behind Cuboi was to make a PS1/64 looking platformer with gameplay mirroring Mario 3D World. You're a computer monitor headed little dude with some slightly off collision detection but you navigate through bright colorful world(s) finding datagems.
